Funeral Costs Billy Muir

Hi I am Lesley and this is a message we are writing with a heavy heart. The legend that was Billy Muir passed away in the early hours of Friday, 7 January 2022.

I’m sure those who knew him as Big Billy, Triple B or just the Big Man will know that his 2 beautiful girls knew him simply as dad and their 5 lovely kids knew him as grandad Billy. He will leave a huge gap in their lives.

Billy was one of life’s real characters. He loved a good party back in the day and I’m sure you all have some great memories of the times spent having fun with a true original. What you may not know is that Billy struggled with a life limiting illness for many years which he hid as best he could from friends and family. His work ethic was ingrained from a young age and the many years he spent living and working in the US gave him a love of travel. Unfortunately in later years the illness caught up with him and his finances were few and far between. Billy was generous to a fault when he had the means and as his passing was so sudden and unexpected there are no funeral funds. His girls would like to pay Billy’s generosity of spirit forward by giving their dad the send-off he deserves. If you can spare anything however small to give the Big Man one last celebration of a life lived to the full we would be so grateful. If everyone who has sent such lovely messages of condolence were to donate whatever you can afford the funeral costs would be covered.
