It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that my family and I said Goodbye to our beloved Dad late last night.
It's been a terrible near on two years for the whole world due to the pandemic - adding to the already hard times has been been incredibly difficult.
After losing our beloved Brother shortly followed by our beautiful Mum, our Father passed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital last night.
Our Dad, a wonderful Son, Brother, Grandfather and best Friend has finally been reunited with his beloved wife - still keeping an eye on me, I'm sure - and it's this I take great solace in.
Dad was a great foodie. Even in his last few days whilst in hospital, he'd demand I visit him with Samosas - THEN tell me how he was feeling. Samosas on tap now, Dad!
After a year of recovering from open heart surgery, relapses, losing family members, moving, I am slightly struggling to finance funeral costs, ensuring our beloved Father gets the funeral he deserves. During this time where so much has happened, and with the holiday season approaching, I'm aware finances are limited to each and everyone of us, so any donation would mean so so much.
Truth be told, I've always attached GoFundMe with a certain stigma - however, after hearing so many great stories personally and on here, it's evident help is available to those who need it for a loving cause.
