SEND A SOLDIER HOME. Funeral Costs

Edmond Davis passed away at his home in Suffield on May 16 2020. He was a British Forces Veteran who served with 7 Signals Regiment in Ireland conflicts , Italy  and spent part of his career in Germany . He was also a retired Canadian commisioner from CFB Suffield. He was born in Liverpool England. The only surviving blood relative to ‘Eddie’is his sister Diana Tressider (Davis). His wishes in life were that when he died his ashes would go back to his home town so his ashes can be scattered on the River Mersey by his family . His sister has expressed concern that she will not receive her brothers ashes for a very long time or even at all,until the funeral home that are holding the ashes receive the amount needed. They will not proceed further with preparing and sending ‘Eddie’ home. Diana is retired and cannot afford this sum of money as she recently took out a loan for the funeral of their sister.
