Funeral Contribution for Mr. Henri Obar

Please join family and friends of Henri Obar as we celebrate his life and remember the good times we enjoyed with him.  Our brother needs help getting home to his final resting place in Mfangano Island in Kenya. 

Henri was born in Mfangano Island on November 3rd, 1956.  He came to the United States in 1975 where he attended Merced Junior College then proceeded on to California State University, Stanislaus.  He passed away in Merced, California on February 27th, 2019 where he had lived for 44 years.  He is survived by his son Andrew Obar, brothers Phelemon Obar and Daniel Obar.  He joins his late son Moses Obar, sister Spirina Obar and parents Nicodemus and Penina Obar. 

Let us help and encourage his loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate his loss and adjust to life in his absence. Donations will go directly towards his family fund to help give him a well deserved final journey.
