Funeral Arrangements for our beloved DJ Di

On April 21st, the sky gained another star in DJ Di.

DJ Di, born Diane Calo, found her niche and calling in Orlando as one of the best Karaoke hosts and most recognizable local celebrities. Her features in publications like Orlando Weekly and the Orlando Sentinel and local and national awards and recognition led to hundreds flocking to flip the pages in her songbook to sing their hearts out and hear her sing night after night.

For nearly 30 years, Diane lived for the applause and love from her friends and supporters. And what a voice she had! From Cher to Tina Turner to Alicia Keys, Diane’s renditions of timeless fan favorites could get people out of their seats or move them to tears. Her love for all things 80’s included frequent concerts to see her beloved George Michael, Jon Bon Jovi, Debbie Gibson, Cher and so many others.

Diane's Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday preceding the service from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

We lost Di rather suddenly and unexpectedly but we know how much she was loved during her time with us. Any funds or contributions will be used towards the Memorial Service for Di and to help support her family as they work to honor her wishes.
