Funeral arrangements for Lee Kemp

It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic loss of Lee Kemp at just 49 years old from a sudden illness.

Lee loved to help out in the community. He regularly donated food to various food banks around Chesterfield, he fund raised for Headway UK after his friend got a brain injury and held several auctions for nightingale ward (children's ward) at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. In 2006, Lee and his friend risked their own lives to save a young man from committing suicide and recieved a bravery award from Derbyshire Constabulary.

I could try forever to summarise his life and everything he has done for the community and how proud we are to call him family.

Unfortunately, due to sudden illness, the responsibility for his funeral is now left to his one and only child Daniel. Daniel has only just turned 18 years old and is a full time student, this means he does not qualify for government assistance. Daniel also lost his grandma Joyce (Lee's mother) 3 weeks prior to his dad's passing. No teenager should have to go through what he is currently going through right now.

Please help to ease this financial burden, we know this is a hard time for everyone in the current crisis however any and all donations are gratefully received, every penny counts.
