It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of my sister, Linh Phan. On January 19th, my family and I received a call that no family would ever want to hear. She was one of the two women killed when a man driving a stolen SUV ran a red light and rammed into the vehicle. She was taken from us far too soon in a senseless act of violence.
My family is devasted by her loss and was not prepared. As a single mother to two children, one with special needs, she provided what she could for them. The high cost of a funeral service is not something we were prepared for. We want to give Linh the memorial she deserves, honor her memory, and say our last goodbyes.
We're currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Linh's funeral. Any remaining funds will help to support her children. We will never forget Linh and the impact she had on those around her.
Words can't describe how suddenly her passing has affected all of us, especially her children.
