UPDATE: We have been bowled over by the generosity that has been shown thus far. It is clear that we can do more to help than we previously imagined, so we have increased the goal. If we raise enough, it is possible that we could help pay off the house so Angelisa would not need to move at all. THANK YOU so much for your help.

Early on the morning of November 2, 2020, Angela Hassan passed away from medical complications.

Angela was a wonderful lady and loving mother to her daughter, Angelisa, a student at Eastern Michigan University and a dear friend of mine. Angelisa's insightfulness and perseverance through many difficulties have buoyed me up on many occasions. 

Angelisa lived with her mother in their home in Plymouth, Michigan. The unexpected onset of financial burden pertaining to both funeral and housing costs is overwhelming.

All funds raised will be given to Angelisa to cover memorial costs as well as provide a safety net as she navigates her housing situation moving forward. Helping Angelisa ease worries about where the funds will come from is an excellent tribute to Angela's memory.

Donations of any size help and will ease Angelisa's financial burden as she grieves the loss of her dear mother.
