Funeral & End of Life Expenses

Kathie Jo Curry Hutcheson, age 59 of Hammond, LA passed on Sunday, July 29, 2018.  Born, December 16, 1958, in Alexandria, LA.  Karate was Kathie Jo’s main interest.  She was a longtime member, for 45 years of, Japan Karate Association.  She enjoyed being around her Karate Family to Karate camps all over the world.  Learning from her Sensei she was very determined and strong-minded, which lead her to receive her Black Belt.  Kathie was also a member of The Northshore Mustang Club.  Kathie leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Robert James Hutcheson, Sr., one son Robert James Hutcheson and wife Carla.  She also leaves behind her mother Maxine Morris Curry, one brother Mike Curry and wife Kathy and their sons Joe and Ben, two grandsons Robert Michael Hutcheson and Jordan Milton.  Kathie leaves behind her entire loving family.  She is preceded in death by her father Bob Curry.  A private family funeral services will be held immediately and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date for friends and family.
