Funeral & Burial for 5yr old Kamrieon

This handsome little guy is Kamrieon. Kam was diagnosed with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) as an infant. Over the past year he has progressively started to decline medically. Monday, May 4th, he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, on the brink of cardiac arrest. There were no precursors as to what the cause was. Upon arrival, he was a bluish color due to a lack of oxygen and Co2 accumulation. It was also observed that he suffered a seizure during this time. It was later discovered that he had sepsis from bacteria typically found in the respiratory tract. His body did not respond to the growth of the infection until it was too late. He is currently in the pediatric ICU being treated for four different infections and monitoring for further seizure activity. He suffered another seizure, what they call a break-through seizure after a week of being treated for the infections. With each seizure, he continues to lose  more and more brain function.  He continues to have these seizures without any indication or triggers of having them. Kam is also having trouble breathing. With having a lot of seizure activity, his last EEG showed slowing of his brain waves and the CT showed significant brain tissue loss with each seizure. He’s been asleep more than awake, and his body is shutting down. As a result of all the current medical issues, the outcome of his status has been determined that there will not be any improvement, only a decline. At this point, his quality of life has dissipated significantly. His mom will be meeting with the hospital staff  tomorrow, Thursday May 14th to discuss end of life alternatives. Shannan is a single mother with four other sweet children. Kam is the youngest, only 5 years old. Kam is not the only child with SMA. She also has a 2nd child with the same crippling disease as Kam. Niya is 8 years old. Original life expectancy was 2 years old, but because of the immense love, exceptional care and unwavering determination of this mother, they have lived way beyond that original prognosis. The reason for my plea with this fund raiser is because this family is in need of your help. As this mother faces the agonizing  reality of preparing for the loss of her child, she has no idea how she is going to afford a funeral and burial. I am asking if there is anyone out there that would be willing to help with these expenses for this little guy. Any help for this mother facing this unfathomable financial burden would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to do whatever I can to help find a way to cover the cost. I can’t imagine being in Shannan ’s shoes.
