Eli's Adventure as told by his mother Heather:
On January 21st of 2015 Eli's adventure began.  He went for a CT scan & was sent to the ER to have further evaluations.  We heard words we never thought we would hear in conjunction with Eli...brain tumor.  After consulting with many doctors & having lots more tests, his surgery to remove the tumor was scheduled for the following week.  The rest of the week & weekend were spent in the hospital with many loving visits from family & friends.  On Monday morning, Eli had a very intense & complicated surgery to remove his tumor.  After surgery he was admitted to the ICU &  stayed under their care for two & a half weeks.  On the week of February 9th , we had a team meeting with all of our doctors to determine a plan for Eli.  February 10th he had some additional surgery to help him in his long-term rehabilitation.  We also found out that his treatment plan could not be completed here at TC Thompson.  So Eli's doctor began to contact other facilities.  The Lord has opened a door for Eli at St. Jude's in Memphis.  So we will be Memphis bound soon.  Our doctors are still working out all the details.

Eli has a very long & unknown road ahead of him, but we are trusting our great God to handle all of the details of his healing.  All of your prayers & encouragement are more appreciated than you'll ever know.  I (aka momma) will do my best to keep you updated on Caring Bridge with Eli's adventure.  Please keep praying for him & all of us.  Prayer is our most dire need.  Our God is able & we know He is faithful.  We have seen His hand in every step of this journey so far & know He will not leave us.  He's already going before us to Memphis preparing the way...
