Hi my name is Lisa and me and my grand daughter Bethany are raising funds for our mission trip to help the poverty stricken people of Lima, Peru. After a successful mission trip last year, (thank you to all of you generous people who helped make that possible, through go fund me and other ways) we have the wonderful opportunity of going back again. We had a great time and it was very humbling witnessing and seeing first hand, the funds being distributed in the many areas needed to help the poor.

Your donation of any amount will be a welcomed contribution to help towards the needs of the poverty stricken children and mamas in Lima Peru. We will be going into the poorest parts of the city, providing survival bags and essentials for these families. There is no benefit system provided by the government, so every donation helps. Many of the children are raised by single mothers whose sources of income are very limited. We are also coming alongside Pastor Mario and his beautiful wife Sara in sharing the gospel of Jesus, and our goal is to teach kingdom principles which will enable them to share in the blessings God provides and become great disciples themselves, so that the legacy of Gods love can be passed down to many generations to come. I am a great witness to what Christ can do in someone’s heart, and how a life can be turned around by the power of the Holy Spirit, and I am so grateful to be able to share my journey with the Peruvian people, bringing hope into their lives too.

We will also be spending some time in the mountain area of Cañete where Pastor Mario has had the privilege of meeting and ministering to the people there. We will be providing chocolate milk,cake and a toy to the children, generating a joyful atmosphere of love and unity. It has and will continue to be a great opportunity for Bethany to not only learn from the Peruvian culture but also how to appreciate the many generous people’s hearts that choose to put other needs before their own. A very important life lesson a person can learn at a young age. And to also see those donations being used for a good purpose.
