Sometimes life kicks you where it hurts

We all love surprises but this one was not welcomed.
Tragedy struck the life of my dear friend, Philly, a few days ago. It seemed to be a good day. She was cooking in the kitchen with her husband nearby. She had no idea what was about to take place.
Philly's life was changed dramatically when her husband, Mike, died suddenly at home. There was no warning. There was no time to prepare. It just happened. Just like that.
Philly has always been a tough lady. There were many difficult barriers she had overcome that would leave most devastated and unable to bounce back from. Philly always recovered with no hatred; and naturally spreads joy wherever she goes. She is contagiously happy and never lets negativity stop her. Philly is absolutely the most faithful, loving, unselfish person I know. She will do anything to help others even if it isn't easy, and never let on that she was inconvenienced. She does too much for others and wishes she could do more. She has taken in friends for as long as they needed and carried them through their rough times. She has saved many lives and been witness to lives that couldn't be saved throughout her career. Unfortunately, this was one life that couldn't be saved.
This unexpected tragedy caused heartache, pain, sadness, and grief. She doesn't deserve any of the hard times she has been confronted with and this is the worst. Friends and family have contributed but there are limits. This is why I am reaching out to the community.
The average funeral costs between 10 - 15K. Many of her loved ones have offered any help that she needs. Lessening the financial burden in laying her husband to rest is the perfect way to help.
