Funds for Philippines Taal Volcano Evacuees

My name is Angel Leus. I immigrated to the US when I was 8 but spent some time in my parents' hometown (Balele) before that. A majority of my family, (including the family of my mom's 7 other siblings and their children and grandchildren) still live in this town and they've been deeply affected by the erupting Taal volcano since its first sign of activity on January 12. To date, there have been at least 725 earthquakes and a continuous flow of ash and steam coming from the actively erupting volcano. It is currently classified to Level 4 activity out of 5, which indicates that a larger and more hazardous explosive eruption is possible at any moment.
Balele, Tanauan Batangas, the village where our friends and family are from, is within the 14 km danger zone in radius from this actively erupting volcano. Soon after its first eruption, they were forced to evacuate their homes for their safety. As a consequence, each family was displaced and forced to abandon a majority of their belongings and more importantly, their livelihood. Since January 12, all members of our very large family (who have spent their whole lifetime in Balele) have had no source of income but were luckily able to find shelter at other family members' home outside of the danger zone.
It is currently unknown how long this situation will last and as of January 22, Balele was assigned to complete lockdown which means they are no longer allowed to visit their homes. This lockdown suggests that there is not much improvement on the situation. Some of their livelihoods involve raising farm animals that they have been returning to maintain and feed on a daily basis since they were first issued to evacuate. Because of this lockdown, this is now impossible to do. We are humbly asking that you help support our family to help aid with everyday costs (food, water, toiletries, and other necessities) for this unknown period of time. We will relay these donations to my mother's sister, Martina Landicho, who will then distribute it to our many family members accordingly. Any donation is very much appreciated!
