Funds for Paige

Paige has an illness known  as Zellweger Syndrome , which is  a rare genetic disorder. She was diagnosed at the age of 11 months and was given a life expectancy of 1 year. This terrible Syndrome has many components some of which are hearing loss, loss of muscle tone, loss of vision and liver dysfunction. Paige has fought a hard battle with love from family and friends, especially her loving parents Peter and Gail as well as her big brother Dakota, who is 12yo. On July 4th of this year Paige turned 10 years old. Paige has had many admits to the IWK Children's Hospital in Halifax and is in the mist of her most resent and perhaps her toughest battle . Paige was admitted to IWK on July 7th with severe sustained seizures requiring her to have a breathing tube and be placed on a ventilator. Paige's mother Gail remains at her bedside 24 hours a day, and her dad Peter who works full time in the city as well as a member of the Military Police is with Paige and Gail every moment that he can. Pete's commitment to the Military police had made it necessary to take vacation hours from his job to complete a course. Paige's recent emergency has required Pete to return from the course. The severity of Paige's most recent setback has brought with it additional financial strain and I would like to request of family and friends to help where possible. All funds will go directly to Pete and Gail to perhaps lighten one stress factor so they can continue to focus on getting Paige back home . Thank You
