Funds for Chris Daly

The Special Education Staff at John F. Kennedy High School has started this Go Fund Me Account for Chris Daly, our beloved colleague, who has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), that is sometimes referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease.  

We are raising money for durable medical equipment, in-home care, and other expenses to support Chris and her family, as she has always supported us and has been an integral part of the teaching staff at JFK.

For the past five years I have had a diagnosis of progressive muscular atrophy. After a recent trip to the ER and a stay in ICU, the diagnosis has changed to ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). My special education colleagues established this fund to help pay for durable medical equipment and medical expenses.
