Fundraiser to help Olivia in her road to recovery

Hello family and friends of the Steeles.

As some of you are aware, Olivia was/is the poster baby for transplants due to undergoing her own liver transplant as a baby.

Olivia was born with a rare liver disease and was told by doctors that she may not live to see her 1st birthday. Although this was the most important operation of her tiny life at that time, in spite of this she has overcome all obstacles that comes with such a serious operation. Liv has grown into a strong, determined, stubborn, wonderful young woman that we have the pleasure knowing today.

Liv has achieved so much already at 20 years old; from athletics, dancing, Oztag, swimming, working, teenage fun, and 2 weeks prior of falling ill Olivia had bought herself a first brand new car. She is also an ambassador for donate a life, and has competed in the transplant games, and is a fabulous and beautiful person. She is a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, dear friend, and she is the beauty between her brothers.

The beautiful Olivia is currently very unwell and dealing with organ infections and more.

At present, Olivia finds herself in a situation where she is drawing on all her strengths to get her through her illness's and with the support of Lisa (mum), Brendan (dad), Corey and Ryan (brothers), family, friends and extended community, we know and pray she will fight to win.

Given the current COVID restrictions and lockdowns we are all experiencing, this is also restricting the visit time for the immediate family, as we can all appreciate this just ads additional stress.

In consultation with her Aunty Kylie and Uncle Nathan, we thought we would put together a surprise GoFundMe Page in hoping to assist with medical bills and other associated costs.

We are appealing to the kindness of anyone that knows the Steele's, which is many, to assist in any way you can towards making life a little easier financially.

Any funds we raise to support the Steele's will help to alleviate some of the financial costs, thus only needing to focus on Olivia's upcoming recovery.
