Fundraiser for St Panteleimon&St Paraskevi Church

The Greek Orthodox community of St Panteleimon, Harrow was established in 1975 when the community rented the Anglican church of the Holy Spirit in Kenton Road.

Over the years, the community grew in size and the needs for a larger church increased.

So in 1997, fundraising commenced and after many years, in 2006, a new multi functional church hall was built. The church hall now serves as a school, nursery and a community hall that can be rented.

In 2011, the building of the first Byzantine style-church in over 100 years in London was completed (i.e. the current St Panteleimon & St Paraskevi church).

During the pandemic years (2020 - 2022) there were a number of lockdowns, which meant that the church lost valuable sources of income. From 2022, interest rates in the UK sky rocketed which meant that the church's monthly mortgage payments significantly increased.

Within the next 6 months we urgently need to raise £163,000 to ensure the continued operation of the church. Any donations are most welcome. Please do share this link with your friends and family.
