Fundraiser for Master Dana Johnson

Dana Johnson endured a horrific experience August 7th, 2020, awaking at almost 3 am to the smell of smoke and a window of flames. The house next door to his home was fully engulfed and the fire had spread to his home. He managed to grab his keys, wallet and phone and back his vehicle out of the garage, but has lost everything else: clothing, furniture, two drum sets, electronics, gear and equipment, plus thousands of dollars worth of uniforms and belts purchased for his martial arts club.



Unfortunately, his belongings were not insured. While there are many things he simply cannot replace - photos of his sons, memorabilia from his father and other sentimental keepsakes, I'm hopeful we can help him replace the day to day things he needs to live.

Master Dana Johnson is so loved and respected by the worldwide TaeKwon-Do community as well as a massive community of friends and family. So many people have reached out asking how they can help. I know this is not what he wants, but it is what he needs. The Covid-19 situation has already caused him to shut down his business March through June, which has been a tough blow this year - as it has been for so many. Let's all show him the love he has shown through decades of teaching and coaching so many dedicated students. He is an amazing human being with a heart of gold who would do anything for a friend. 


I'm grateful he awoke. I'm grateful he is safe. I'm grateful that everyone in both houses were able to escape the flames. And I'm especially grateful for the outpouring of support he has seen through this... countless messages we're both tryin to keep up with.
