Fundraiser for Maria’s ovarian cancer

Hi, my name is T Maria Popescu and i am fundraising for myself to help with the costs of my cancer journey . Most of my life i have been dealing with ovarian cysts that come and go . This time , one of them came to stay . In April 2023 they found a cyst on my left ovary ,6cm big, we had a Roma Score Tumoral Marker and it was nothing to worry about , received hormonal treatment to make it go away in it’s own without needing surgery or At least keep it under control . Months passed by and it stayed the same size until November when it grew to 8cm . We made the tumoral markers Tests again and results came indicating high risk of malignancy. After many other tests , RMI’s , ultrasounds and bloodwork , i got diagnosed with Stage ll Ovarian cancer after . It was devastating as i am only 27 years old and i am the Mom of an awesome kid i wanna see growing . Sadly, my family’s budget is low At the minute as we had spent a lot on the investigations made . My insurance covers a lot , But not all of it and for many tests we used the private field as in the public hospitals you wait a long time , and cancer doesn’t like to wait .

We will do a laparoscopic surgery to get the mass out by the start of February , run more tests and choose if it’s Gonna be chemo or another type of oncological treatment . Thank you for standing by me in these hard times . God bless you all . Will keep you updated .
