Midtown Fire Relief
Donation protected
My sisters have had quite the week.
Some of you may have heard about the midtown fire that occurred in sactown this past weekend well... that’s my sister’s house. Mckenzie was taking a nap on Sunday when she woke to flames and sirens, thankfully Devyn was at work and Kenzie was the only one home, she was able to get out safely but her and Dev’s things are toasted to a crisp. Now you all know Kenz and Dev are flexible and can take on anything... knowing these sisters they probably would have slept in their car till they found a new place to rent, but the week previous they were rear ended on the freeway and their shared car was totaled. It really was just one thing after another.
Right now we are just thanking God for their lives and realize things could be a whole lot worse. I wanted to post this up to make their different communities aware of what’s going on with the hopes we can surround them in love and support. If y’all run into them or hear from them give ‘em a big hug and a coffee. I’ll also be posting their Venmo account as well if you’d prefer to donate that way. Not only will the funds raised help with my sisters crazy week but they are wanting to help out their neighbors in the surrounding units who were affected. Their neighbor Z who has lived in this home for the past 9 years lost three of her cats and had all her belongings packed into boxes in preparation for a move. The girls want to be as much of a blessing to their neighbors as they can.
