Fundraiser for Ken's Chemo

For those of you that don't know, my brother Kenneth Warren had surgery recently to remove a tumor the size of a grapefruit that turned out to be cancerous. Unfortunately, the "C" word has invaded his life. Specifically, colon cancer. 

The repeated chemotherapy treatments are a significant drain on someone who is on a fixed income due to disability. And 6 months worth of treatments is going to take all of the strength he has physically. So while he will never ask for himself, I am setting this up to help him pay his co-pay for those treatments. Between the doctor visits at $45 ea, the chemo visits at $160 ea, and a few treatments for iron deficiency at $175 ea., it’s going to be a financial challenge.

So, assuming my math is correct, it will be just under $3000 to pay his part. Thank God for insurance, otherwise, never mind.

I told Ken I was setting this page up. He's not exactly happy about asking for help, but he knows that the help is needed. I told him that there is a slight possibility that the goal may be met and surpassed. He said immediately that if there is anythign above the needed amount, then he wants to it go to someone else at the treatment center who is having trouble meeting their co-pay.
