Fundraiser For Jack's Surgery

I am trying to raise money to get my best friend, Ryan Bates' dog, Jack, the proper surgery to save his life.  Jack deserves to live out the rest of his life happy and healthy. He should be able to play with his brother Linc and continue to bring joy to everyone that knows him, including Ryan's nephews (pictured above). Everyone that knows this dog knows how special he is and not only to his Doggy Parents (Ryan and Bri) but to our entire group of friends, his brother Linc and anyone who has had the honor of meeting him and witnessing some of his brilliant tricks and charming ways. On Tuesday February 27th, Ryan and fiancé Bri brought Jack to New Hartford animal clinic where they referred them to Upstate Veterinary Hospital in Latham NY. After testing, Jack was found to have a cardiac arrhythmia. In his case, an increased and irregular heart rate due to a tumor on his adrenal glands, which without the proper surgery will lead to a number of other health issues or worse. The veterinarian in Latham said that Jack is a very healthy dog and with this surgery to remove the tumor and some recovery time, he should be able to return to his usual shenanigans. So far with the emergency treatment at both facilities and medication to lower his heart rate, the veterinarian bill is $4k. The medication is just a band aid though. To fully recover, he will need surgery which will cost between $5k-$6k.  If the campaign raises all $10,000, the original vet bill will be paid in full along with the cost of the necessary surgery. If there is any remaining money after the surgery, it will be donated to Steven Swan Humane Society! Thank you all for your consideration. We all, especially Jack, really appreciate it!!
