Hi All,
As many know, one of our amazing nurses, Fil Toito, has been diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma of the lung and is currently off work. With permission from Fil, we are hoping to collect some funds in order to help support her and her family during this time.
A bit about Fil: Fil has worked at the Hamilton General Hospital for majority of her nursing career. Fil has worked on 8 South, ICU-West, 5 South, the CCU, and in periop research as well, always providing thorough patient-centered care and exemplifying what it is to be an amazing nurse . She is a fiercely kind hearted individual, always willing to help others when needed, willing to bake endless amount of sweets for anyone with a celebration, and is a foundational team member within the cardiac surgical program.
