Fundraiser for Bonkerz surgery
Donation protected
Bonkerz was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer a few weeks ago but his owner Jo Gurney was told it was inoperable but yesterday she got great news that they can operate as you will see in an update from her below.. Bonkerz surgery will cost at least €2000 .Jo works tirelessly to help volunteer at animal rescues and charities around the world so I set up this go fund me page to try to help her out for a change.. any amount donated big or small will be greatly appreciated ♥️

Today I got the great news that the tumour Bonkerz has is benign it is a Leiomyoma (most commonly found in the uterus of women ) these are quite rare in male dogs , the even better news is it's being removed by a specialist called Laura Cuddy on Monday in Meath , due to its size and the fact it is blocking his pyloric sphincter it has to come out, the surgery is called Bilroths Procedure , so I'm over the moon , worried about another surgery as that's 5 general anaesthetics in a very short 12 week period but I have heard she is a fantastic surgeon and I'm sure she will do her very best for my beautiful boy . When Aiden phoned from Ark Vets I didn't want to answer as it could of been very bad news , he was delighted to be giving me better news and I had tears rolling stopped at the side of the road , the relief is incredible and Bonkerz should have many more years being bonkers Thank you to everyone that has helped me out with things to make me smile, advice in the middle of the night when I was freaked out and sad and messages of support and love for Bonkerz
