Fundraise for Umar's Family

I am writing this today to let you know about the loss of Umar Shelia. On Saturday morning, 24th September 2022, our beloved friend Umar Shelia passed away due to an accident. Umar's family is who we are doing the fundraiser for, and for his body to be shipped to India so they can complete the rituals there, Umar made a significant impact on our lives with the memories we have made. We lost his life to this accident, and we want to help his family by providing money for medical expenses as well as covering expenses for living and groceries; Umar was the primary bread earner for his family as well as the only hope for his family, and without him, they are unable to provide for themselves, a few months ago his dad had a stroke and is unable to walk anymore, and the mother is a housewife and is suffering from underlying heart issues. The donors today that have donated for him and are continuing to donate knew him as a positive person who brought a smile to everyone's face and made everyone feel safe to be themselves. Umar will always be in our memories and will continue to watch over us. We are devastated by Umar’s passing and struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of sending the remains to India. We must pay all the costs to send his remains to India by 30th October 2022. Please consider donating if you’re able to do so. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time. We are going to be sending this donation through Western Union to India. Every penny will help us, help the family to have a better life and pay their debt.
