Fundraise for Covid Medical Relief in India

Dear Friends,
This is an urgent appeal to you all to join me in raising funds for Tibetan Cancer Society who is currently engaged in providing much needed Covid related medical assistance in New Delhi, India. Many of you might be aware of the dire situation, India is facing due to the 2nd wave of Covid-19 pandemic specially in big cities like Delhi and Mumbai. This 2nd wave has put a major pressure on medical infrastructure. There were many cases of Covid patients losing lives due to the lack of hospital beds, Oxygen, Ventilators and proper medical treatments. According to Mr. Tsultrim Dorjee, Director of Tibetan Cancer Society "The Covid-19 situation in Delhi is overwhelming hospitals' beds and other medical resources. As of now, there are thousands of people infected and every hour people are dying in Delhi. Patients are lined up in front of the hospitals and it is almost impossible to get a bed inside hospitals. Mr. Tsultrim contacted me to help them buy oxygen concentrators and other necessities during this medical emergency. We are trying our best to help the TCS’s request but we need your help to save more lives.
The Tibetan Cancer Society is based in India and their main objective is to assist people with medical emergencies and organize health camps in Tibetan refugee settlements. During this pandemic, they have been assisting many people who are affected by Covid but they need urgent financial support.
With this campaign whatever funds we receive will be sent to Tibetan Cancer Society. Since the Delek Children’s Foundation is a very small organization and our primary objective is for children’s education. A small portion of our funds are usually distributed to families in the Himalayas for medical emergencies. We have decided to sponsor 4 oxygen concentrators and I’m requesting everyone to donate generously to accomplish the rest of their needs .
They currently need funds for the the following:
1. 3 Nurses salaries for 2 months : INR 20,000 x 6 = INR 120,000
2. Oxygen Concentrator : INR 100,000 x 6 = INR 60000
3. Ambulance fuel for 2 months : INR 50,000 x 2 = INR 100,000
4. Oxygen Mask : INR 50 x 200 pieces = INR 10,000
5. Patient Food Expense : INR 200,000
6. Patient Medicine cost : INR 100,000
7. PPE kits : INR 500 x 100 pcs = INR 50,000
8. Sanitizer 5L : INR 700 x 10 pcs = INR 7000
9. Small Hand sanitizer : INR 50 x 100 pcs = INR 5000
10. Hospital admission emergency fund : INR 300000
11. Multi parameter monitor : INR 35,000
12. Oxygen refill cost : INR 20,000
TOTAL:
INR 144,7000 = approx USD$20,000
