End period poverty in Cabo Verde

Given the current situation caused by the covid-19 pandemic, Wink Kriola created the "Redline" campaign to support Cape Verdean girls and women from poor and vulnerable backgrounds, who are unable to buy soap and pads, tampons or other absorbents during their period.
With the support of Nos é Criolas, we want to launch this crowdfunding in order to give them dignity during their period, so that they feel safe, confident, and can be healthy without the risk of infection due to poor hygiene.
This fund aims to support girls and women throughout the Cape Verdean territory.

Nos é Criolas is an online community aimed at empowering, celebrating, and uplifting Cape Verdean women around the world. We redefine the narrative around Cape Verdean women and their identity. We advocate for representation, self-knowledge, mental health and healing.
Dado a conjuntura atual estabelecida pela pandemia do covid19, a Wink Kriola criou o movimento "Redline"( Linha vermelha) para apoiar meninas e mulheres Cabo verdianas de famílias pobres e vulneráveis, que não tem condições de adquirirem pensos higiênicos ou outros absorventes e sabão durante o período de menstruação.
Com a ajuda de Nos é Criolas, queremos lançar esse financiamento coletivo para poder dar a elas dignidade durante o período, para que se sintam seguras, confiantes, e possam estar saudáveis não correndo riscos de ter uma infeção devido a uma higienização deficitária.
Este fundo é para apoiar meninas e mulheres em todo território Cabo Verdiano.
