Volunteering to Teach Children in Schools in Kenya
Don protégé
Hi, my name is Liv and I am a student in Year 8 at a local Stoke-on-Trent High School.
I have an amazing opportunity to travel to Nakuru, Kenya with my school through African Adventures in March 2027. During this trip I will be volunteering at a local school, helping to teach the children in lessons such as Maths, English and Art. I will also be involved in coaching sports, learning them some of the skills I have, such as playing rugby, cricket and maybe even some Jujitsu. This is a real chance to make a real difference in their lives and mine!
I hope to bring energy, creativity, care and fun to their classrooms and playgrounds for the duration of my stay. This experience will help me grow as a person and inspire others in my community to give back.
The money I am raising will go towards the cost of the trip, which is £2,395. This includes return flights, accommodation and meals, travel insurance and planned development work (with a dedicated trip host in Africa).
Every donation, no matter how small, will get me one step closer to making this journey a reality. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page with your friends and family. Your help and support means the world to me and to the children I will be working with.
