Funding support for education & soccer scholarship

*UPDATE*

Unfortunately due to Covid and senior players being offered a return to play for an extra year, this has meant that Jakob could not be put onto the roster to play football.

Because of this he lost his athletic scholarship funding which In turn meant that his university fees went up by thousands of dollars. 

Due to this we have had to withdraw from the university and team as we simply couldn’t afford.

We have however secured Jakob a place at a different university in NewYork Sate 

(Le Moyne) which he can’t wait to join. The down side is he won’t be able to go out until Jan 2022. 

In the mean time he is playing football back home for his old team, keeping fit and keeping up his playing time, he has also got himself a holiday job at a soccer school.

Now looking forward to a new start ❤️

All fundraising will go on as normal to support his university fees, as he will still have the same  outgoings to cover - university fees, accommodation fees, meal plans, books, kit, insurance (this alone is between $1500-2000 per year).

Plus flights and living expenses.

My son Jakob has had the opportunity of a life time & his dream come true in being offered a 4y soccer scholarship out in America at Missouri State University (a top D1 school).

Whilst playing football he will also study a degree program.

Jakob has played football from a babe in arms, it’s all he’s ever wanted to do.  At 

6y of age he started his football career
with Crewe Alexandra FC and has spent all of his time there, he was offered a 2y
scholarship from 16-18yrs of age, this 
sadly came to an end at the end of May
2020.
Jake has had a tough few years through
his GCSE’s to the present day with his
dad being diagnosed with stage 3 lung
cancer.
Jakob worked so hard in his football and
in his studies and passed all GCSE’s with good marks followed by a BTec in Sport where he achieved 
Distinction * Distinction.

We really want to support him now on
the next chapter of his life,  he really
does deserves it.

We need to raise as much money as
possible to help towards flights,
education, insurance, accommodation & everyday living costs for the 4yrs he is out there.
