Funding for COVID Survivors Prosthetic Leg

My mother had many health complications when she had covid.

She loss blood supply in her lower right leg when she had covid and her blood pressure was dropping, due to her body trying to give blood to the organs that needed it most, her toes began to turn black and the doctors tried to save her toes and the fingers that were turning black by giving her medication that would keep her blood pressure up and she received blood transfusions as well.

she ultimately lost her right leg below her knee cap. She has recovered and is beginning to go to therapy to learn how to walk again as well as get casted for her first prosthetic leg.

her PA told us she will most likely go through a trial of two-three prosthetic legs. We now need assistance paying for her prosthetic leg. She is uninsured and we need to pay for her prosthetic at the same time she is fitted. She is going to get fitted in the first week in January, I don’t think I’ll get the full amount needed by then but having some of the funds needed is better than nothing.

as for social security and disability, she’s been approved for disability which she will be receiving later on in the coming months, Social Security is still pending for her. We need help badly, to make sure she gets what she needs while we wait to hear back from our local Social Security office, who has told us that they are slumped right now with applications.

if there is anything you can donate, we GREATLY appreciate it! May God bless you all who donate and pray for us
