Support for Carl & Elsie Quann

On January 11th, my dad, Carl was rushed to Stony Plain emergency due to lack of air supply and what was thought to be a chest infection. He was put into a induced coma and given a breathing tube and transferred to University of Alberta ICU where he was later diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia.

Carl has suffered from asthma and COPD for many years which makes him more succeptable to pneumonia.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a collection of lung diseases that cause blocked airways and make breathing difficult. It can result in serious complications.

Pneumonia is particularly dangerous for people with COPD by causing an increased risk of respiratory failure.

I have started this gofundme page to assist my parents with bills and other living costs during this difficult time. My Dad was the primary earner, and was supposed to start a new job on January 15th. My mom is unable to work now as she will be at the hospital full time by my dads side.
