Funding 4 George “Buddy” Trotter

On March 11, 2018 my brother and I nearly lost our father. He was found clinging to life on the floor in his home. He’d been brutally assaulted some 10-15 hours earlier and was beaten so badly that he was unable to call for help even though his phone was nearby. He was rushed to the only head trauma hospital in the area where he had emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain caused by the assault.

Thankfully for us and the rest of our tight knit family,  he made it through some scary days and nights. The effects of the assault are obvious and have altered the course of his life and the lives of those closest to him. His care, safety, and the reclaimation of his life are what’s most important to us at this time.

He has a long and arduous journey ahead of him, but we plan to get him through it. Funds raised will help provide him with the necessary Occupational, Physical, and Speech therapy he’ll require to improve upon his current condition. We also plan to use a portion of the funds in the pursuit of those who perpetrated this senseless crime.

My father had lived his entire life,  in the same small and quiet town without incident. As his oldest son I know he deserves my best efforts and I’m reaching out to make certain I’m able to do that for him.
