Funderal Expense for Vicki Ritenour Doidge
Donation protected
On December 20, 2019, my sister Vicki Ritenour Doidge lost her life at the age of 60 from respiratory failure. When you have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), any respiratory infection can be deadly, even the common cold. Since she had breathing problems for years, she was unable to work and she received disability. Her husband, who is also on disability due to permanent back injuries, is struggling to afford life, much less the cost of my sister's funeral. They had no life insurance. When you live in disability, there is usually not any extra money available for anything and definitely not a funeral. Funerals are expensive and her family has tried to cut costs as much as possible but the bill still came to roughly $6,000. While they are reaching out to sources for assistance, there is some pressure for payment before the funeral is scheduled. I am asking for anyone to help that can spare it. Losing a loved one is difficult. Losing one during the holiday season makes it extremely difficult. Worrying about how to pay for a burial while trying to grieve can push anyone over the edge. Any donation would be helpful. You can even send a donation directly to Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, VA, so you know this is a legitimate campaign. Thank you for your consideration in helping out my sister's family during this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
