Thanks to our generous Donors, we surpased our initial Goal!
We are now raising funds to build a Community Center where we can run Educational, Health and Women Empowerment training Programs in Teabo, Yucatan.
Every summer, Fundación Cielo runs a volunteer based program. We host undergraduate students from around the world, who are looking for a meaningful experience.
We provide volunteers with full boarding during two months. We depend on the generous donations from friends and family to support our summer programs.
Our programs on Education and Health have been very succesful. We are very proud of our achievements including:
-Literacy clases to over 60 adult indigenous women.
-Sexual Education and training for 12 professors, 30 Midwives and over 200 teenage students.
-Mentorship and coaching for over 60 highschool students with the sole goal of promoting higher education.
-Learn&Play activities for over 80 children in the Municipalities of Teabo and Chumayel
As a result of our 2015 Mentoship week, we secured 2 scholarships for oustanding highschool studens who wanted to pursue higher education.
