I'm Alyssa Cobb — a Trans Filmmaker and storyteller with a deep passion for crafting stories that matter. I'm proud to announce my first short film, Still Her Baby, is set to begin filming July 12th in Henderson, Nevada.

This film is a raw and emotional portrait of a young trans woman returning home to visit her religious mother for the first time since transitioning. It's a story about pain, healing, and the difficult but beautiful road toward unconditional love.

Here’s where I need your help:

This is a passion project with a small team, big dreams, and a very real budget. We’re aiming to raise $1,200 to cover:

Filming Location: $443 for 4 hours – A beautiful, modest family home in Henderson, NV that sets the perfect tone for the story.

️ On-Set Catering: $225 French Pot Roast from Mimi's Catering to feed our hardworking cast & crew.

Hair & Makeup: $200–$300 to help our lead and supporting actors look camera-ready and authentic.

Unexpected costs (e.g., props, equipment rentals, mileage)

Snacks/beverages for crew

A small contingency buffer
