Fund Socheat's Dam Expansion for Survival

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Socheat Ven. I am a farmer in rural Cambodia, 43km from Siem Reap, famous for the Angkor Wat and surrounding temples.
I have a lime orchard with about 500 trees plus many other fruit trees such as mangoes, bananas and other tropical fruit. This year, as a result of climate change, the weather here has been very, very hot, with many consecutive days of 42 degrees Celsius and more. We have had a drought for 5 months, which is very unusual for this area.
If it doesn't rain much in the dry season I have always irrigated my trees with water from my small dam and that has been enough. However this year, the supply of water from my dam stopped about 8 weeks ago and more than 100 of the lime trees have died and the remainder fruit is poor quality.
This is my livelihood and until now it has been enough to allow me to earn enough for my small family including my two young kids and enable me to continue to run English classes for the local children because they don't have access to English learning at their school.
I want to extend my small dam (20X10X4m). I wish to increase its size to 35X20X6m so that it will enough capacity to get water to the trees for the next years.
