Fund my studies at African Leadership University!

Hello friends, I am Andrew from Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa. I am thrilled to share that I have recently been admitted to the African Leadership University (ALU) in Kigali, Rwanda to complete a 4-year degree. I am very grateful to have received partial financial aid from ALU but I need some financial support to realize my dream.
My academic journey has been long in coming. Shortly after finishing senior secondary school, I had the opportunity to work with a team of researchers from the University of Oxford on a three-year school evaluation. I started as an enumerator but as the research continued, I became the primary local contact for the team in the United Kingdom. I was able to lead the day-to-day logistics and became the project coordinator in Sierra Leone.
The exciting story from there is that I joined the team at Rising Academy Network, and in doing so I joined an organization that opens doors and changes lives. Most recently, I have been working with students at Rising, teaching them the basics of computers and upskilling them with some innovative computer software. The students are so enthusiastic and I have loved sharing my knowledge and skills with them and seeing how excited they are to learn.
My professional development has been a keen interest since I joined this brilliant network of schools. Initially, I took the initiative to upgrade my West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). Then I took a few courses at Bluecrest College in Freetown, where I built on my love of computer science and technology.
My greatest dream has been to pursue my university education outside of Sierra Leone, at a university that offers an incredible learning experience inside and outside the classroom. When I first heard about the African Leadership University, I was thrilled to send in my application. At the same time, I also had the opportunity to apply for a scholarship. My biggest goal was to see this dream come to light.
Although I did not receive a full scholarship, I have been awarded a community leadership grant of $2000, waived from the $3000 yearly tuition fee. However, the grant alone is not enough to further my studies at ALU. The grant covers part of my tuition fee but I will still need to pay for my flights, student room and board, insurance, other cost of living, etc.
I am raising a $15,000 USD fund (approx. $20,000 CAD) for this big dream to come true. I strongly believe that your donation, of any amount, would go a long way in helping me to advance my career and achieve my academic goals at ALU. I sincerely appreciate your giving. Thanks a lot in advance!
