Fund Major Plumbing Repairs at Prescott VFW

The Post raises money to help veterans though its canteen, occasional community meals, sale of its signature lapel poppies (representing the poppies of Flanders Field in World War I), and activities such as yard sales. These funds are insufficient to make very necessary repairs to the plumbing system of our 80-year old building. The building has experienced numerous problems such as clogged drains and sewage backups, and does not currently meet city building codes. Replacement of the plumbing and sewage system will bring the system up to city code standards. 
For VFW Post 541 to continue its operation to assist veterans and their family members, it is essential that these repairs are completed to meet city code and county health and safety standards. Our veterans will greatly appreciate any support. Since we are a 501.(c), 19 organization, donations are tax deductible. At a donors request, a letter will be provided for tax purposes.
