Support Kayla's Studies: Marine Science Education
Donation protected
Ever since she was little, my sister, Kayla, has been an animal whisperer and a lover of this planet. She’s an animal whisperer. She’s worked with sharks and saved a dog running from a burning house (not joking). Kayla has been a part of beach clean ups, green teams, and other environmental events on her campus and in her community.
Kayla is now a college student, studying Marine Science with a minor in Biology at Coastal Carolina University. She wants to continue her education by getting her master’s degree, and further educate the youth about the planet we live on. I have never met someone so excited to explain that pollen is technically egg and sperm or that there is a difference in grains of sand or who spends 11 hours at a time studying these exact subjects in the library and lab.
Kayla has been accepted as one of few students who will have the opportunity to travel to Bermuda this spring to begin studying “coral reefs and the stratigraphy and deposition of sand.”
Unfortunately, I’m unable to support Kayla’s acceptance financially on my own, and am turning to you. The trip is going to cost her $4,000.00 between her flight, coursework, travel accommodations, food, etc.
Kayla does not know I’ve started this for her. If you can, please support Kayla’s education!
