Fund for young Queensland dad with stage 4 cancer

I’m raising money for my brother in law, Jeff Finley and his fiancé and their daughters ‘Varney’ (teenager) and ‘Lily’ (7 years old).                                        We are a family in shock, just a couple of weeks ago we learnt Jeff has stage 4 cancer, an aggressive cancer which is in his adrenal gland, lungs and lymph nodes.                                                       Jeff is only 39 years old and the maximum time he has is only 4 months, however we assume he may only last one month as the cancer has spread rapidly and drs are now simply treating his pain.                                               I’m setting up this fund because they are young Aussie battlers, his fiancé Aimee works full time hours but because she is a casual employee does not have access to paid leave and she really needs to have 3-4 weeks at home with him because he is scared and very worried he will die alone without anyone by his side. Unfortunately they rely on Aimee’s pay packet to pay the bills and fees the family however she is working around the clock just to put food on the table, she then comes home to Jeff and cares for him around the clock. They are a proud couple and I know they are finding it difficult asking for help as they are still very much in denial and shock and going through the emotional roller coaster which a terminal cancer diagnosis brings.                                                                         Aimee is my sister and I’m so worried about her because she has so much on her plate and I really just wanted to help behind the scenes so that she didn’t feel she had to ask or admit that she needs help. If Aimee could take a few weeks off work without worrying about bills etc, she could use that time to be with her fiancé of over 10 years - this would be a time where she could look back and remember how the kindness of people who donated allowed her to have priceless time with her fiancé in the weeks when it really counted. U may not know Jeff, Aimee, Varney or Lily personally, but your donation as small as u can manage would be help going to a young family struggling emotionally, physically and financially and cancer affects all of us so it is also a step towards spreading awareness that regardless of your age, none of us are immune to this wretched illness.
