Fund for Scott Strength

Donation protected
As most of you are aware my father, Billy "Scott" Strength, passed away on April 25, 2020. For those of you who are not aware of what happened with regard to his passing I wanted to share his story. If you know or don't know my dad you should know that he had a very special relationship with my mother. They were married for over 35 years and loved each other unconditionally for each of those years. They truly were best friends. My dad drove an 18 wheeler for Timco Logistic Systems Inc and during this hard time with the COVID-19 he was one of the heroes making deliveries of the essential items we all need. On April 23, 2020 my mother contacted me because she had not heard from dad. This was unusual because they spoke every night before she went to sleep and he had not called. His phone was going straight to voicemail as he apparently had no phone signal. I immediately contacted dispatch at his company and with their assistance, along with numerous different police agencies, we were able to locate my dad in a small town near Wichita Falls where he had safely secured the 18 wheeler on the side of the road in the middle of a massive brain hemorrhage. You see this is just the man and driver that my dad was. He was found unresponsive by first responders. He was airlifted to a Dallas hospital where he eventually succumbed to his injury. He grew up in Waxahachie, Texas where he had many loving friends and family members. His service will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. My dad was the primary provider for himself and my mother (who struggles with disabilities of her own) and the struggles she will soon face financially will be hard to overcome. I am requesting any donation large or small in lieu of flowers for his memorial so that I may properly financially assist my mom in the coming months. We all have suffered lost wages and funeral expenses and any assistance we can get will be greatly appreciated. If you cannot provide a donation during this hard time, sharing this link would be equally as helpful. Thank you all and if you have any questions you can reach me through Facebook.
