Get Kenny J to Cambridge, UK to Study Business

Our son Kenny was selected for an amazing opportunity this summer. We are raising funds for him to attend the Wharton Global Youth Program (Strategy and International Management) in Cambridge, UK. This two week program (Jul 6 - Jul 19, 2024) acquaints students with core concepts of management and international business. He would be afforded the opportunity to work in teams with talented, high energy peers to solve Ivy League business cases and simulations.

A global issue that I'm extremely passionate about is sustainability and the environment. It’s tough seeing the world we call home slowly falling apart. It’s crucial that we take better care of our environment for many reasons. By protecting the earth we can protect the balance of our ecosystem and any species that call earth home. If we take care of the environment we can also lessen the effects of global warming. This is extremely important to me because not only am I concerned for my future, but my children as well. This topic is so important to me that every year for my birthday I donate to an organization called EcoSneakers. EcoSneakers is a non- profit that takes used sneakers and donates them to those in need. They also repurpose sneakers into stuffed animals along with producing rubber mulch for playgrounds. Over the last 2 years I’ve help raise more than $2,000 for the organization and donated 160 pairs of sneakers. I'm trying to do my part in making the world a better place. As a result of my efforts I was featured on Kelly Clarkson Show.

I worked very hard over the course of 2 months applying for this program and I can only give credit to God for allowing me to be accepted. I’m very excited for the 2 week trip. Not only do I get to study business at an Ivy League College but I also get a first hand view of the cultural differences in a different country. With that being said, this trip is not cheap and I'm calling on you for help. The full payment is due in 2 weeks and anything you can donate is greatly appreciated.
