Help me study abroad in Spain!

Hi, my name is Michael McGlaughlin, and I am fundraising to help pay for my study abroad trip to Seville, Spain, this summer. Way back in 2021, I heard about a program called CIEE (Council On International Educational Exchange), which gives students opportunities to visit and study language in foreign countries. Travelers stay with a host family and participate in curated cultural outings while immersed in the Spanish language. I didn't think it would be a reality for me, but this year I submitted my application, applied for scholarship, wrote essays, got teacher recommendations, and scrambled to get a passport. Plane tickets are purchased, the trip is now official, and I'll be studying in Spain in a month! I am reaching out to friends and family who may want to help me chip away at the daunting expenses of the trip. All donations are immensely appreciated. I will be sure to share stories and pictures when back on U.S. soil in July!
