Jaz

Jaz, our six year old Rottie, hasn’t had much luck in her life. She was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease when she was very young which meant she has been on a strict renal diet most of her life.

In Aug this year, Jaz began to limp and after extensive tests, she has now been diagnosed with an Osteosarcoma ( an aggressive bone cancer).  The insurance has now gone so we continue to pay large amounts of money to keep her pain under control, comfortable and with us as long as possible. The chemo meds alone are so very costly but the addition of the strong pain meds has just spun out of control. As an example her Amantadine (one of 5 different meds) is £300 for 5 days. £1000 will help towards the enormous fees which are close to £6000 now. She’s a soft, gorgeous and extremely friendly girl who has so much more love to give.
