From the Mackinac Bridge to the bench.

Hi My name is Tim Burke. this fundraiser, is to Garner moneys, to bid on a 55 gallon drum that is filled with pieces of metal, From the Mackinac Island Bridge. Are 5, 55 gallon drums currently up for auction through Government deals auction right now one of the barrels is at $750. Another one of the barrels is at $500. I personally do not have the money at my disposal to bid on these.
I would use the money from the fundraiser, To bid on the metal, I would then create bench, And donate that bench the city of Detroit, or a business establishment in downtown Detroit.
12 years ago I was one of 12 Michigan artists, out of 35 artists, chosen to make a bench for the new Bole family YMCA downtown Detroit.
I was also 1of 5 artist out of 17 artists to win a commission to create a bench for the Michigan Legacy Park Park adjacent to Crystal Mountain ski resort. I created that bench out of a slab granite that I recovered from the Detroit Institute of arts renovation.
Both of those at monetary awards attached to them. I would make dispense for no fee, and created bench to get back to the community that I have been creating my art in for the last 35 years.
