From Our Hearts For Rosie’s Heart

As many of you are aware in our Keeshond Heaven family the story of Miss Rose the beautiful little 8 week old Keeshond puppy that belongs to Collene Easterly Hamm who was born with a hole in her heart (PDA). Collene has brought so much happiness to all of our hearts with her beautiful Keeshond puppies that she breeds and I’m sure all of you agree with me we have to come together and save the beautiful little heart of Miss Rose and for Collene. Some information about Miss Rose has a hole in her heart from the left side of her heart to the right that did not close at birth. She is currently on Lasex  three times a day to get the fluid out of her lungs and then she will get X-rays done this Tuesday and hopefully the fluid will be gone and she will be stable enough to be looked at by a surgeon in Philadelphia at the University Of Penn and if everything goes well she will have open heart surgery to repair the hole in her little heart. The doctors have told Collene there is a 92% success rate. Her first visit last week was 1,000 dollars and they have told Collene the surgery is estimated to be about 6,000 dollars with at least three follow up visits to make sure everything is going well for Miss Rose.
