From an Accident to a Patent!

Sometimes all we need is a little push to gravitate closer to our destinies in life. However, I am a little hard headed so I had to be dragged. On September 26, 2020 while discharging a patient, I was involved in a car accident and was dragged by a taxi cab. Thankfully, I did not sustain any life-threatening injuries, however the injuries I did sustain temporarily put me out of commission and I haven’t been able to return to my day job. These injuries unintentionally relieved me of my obligation to the healthcare industry, which allowed me to fully shift my focus towards my destiny. I ventured off into the realm of entrepreneurship and haven’t looked back! Throughout my entrepreneurial journey I’ve recently developed and submitted an invention for the cosmetic and beauty industries with a dream of patenting. I was just informed that my invention is certainly patentable, however there is a steep cost of $15,000 to complete the process. Unfortunately, the recovery from my car accident and COVID have both severely impacted my ability to generate income and at this time I currently cannot afford to move forward with the patent of my invention.
