Recovery of stolen funds

This is my father, the hardest working man I know. At 70 years of age he wakes up every day at 4am and goes to work. He’s a Construction worker, he comes home dirty, sore and tired. No matter what he loves being out on the job site hammering, digging and cutting. He served his country proudly and will never brag about being a veteran. My dad is my hero. Last week my dad was at a job site working.  The customer gave him payment for his last few weeks of labor and material. My father went to the bank and cashed his hard earned checks. Unfortunately he was followed from the bank back to the job site. The thieves proceeded to break in and ransack my dads truck and take the money (nearly $10.000 dollars) there is surveillance video but a license plate is not visible. We filed a police report but understand that it’s unlikely these thieves will be caught, let alone the money returned.  My father needed this money and he is absolutely devastated as a result of this. As a family we have rallied together to help, but it’s difficult. I come humbly friends and ask for any assistance. My dad works too damn hard to allow some low life’s to steal what he so righteously worked for. Thank you in advance.
