Friends of Wheezie Stevens book
Donation protected
Winner of the 2018 University of Denver Daniels College of Business Social Capital Award, “Bubbles Can’t Hold Rain” is a transformative tale that explores isolation and the necessity that Wheezie Stevens feels to seek support beyond her comfort zone. Inspired by children diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, the story encourages all children to reach out for help when their bubbles feel too full and there isn’t room to breathe. With the intention of self-publishing, and donating books to inpatients at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh, Bubbles Can’t Hold Rain raised over $7,000 through a GoFundMe campaign to support illustrations, design and printing.
*Copies for purchase will be available to the general public after our commitment to donations is fulfilled.
